Sheila Rockley, Ph.D.
Dr. Rockley was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. She has had an interest in alternative medicine since early childhood and has experienced the successes of an integrative health delivery system. With nearly 20 years of health care experience, in early 2000 she began consulting independently with health care organizations and recently served as the Vice President of Physical Health Solutions for United Health Group. Dr. Rockley is passionate in her dedication to decrease health care expenditures by incorporating appropriate alternative and conservative medicine offerings into the mainstream medical community and encouraging US insurance companies to cover naturopathic services. She has authored various articles on decreasing overall medical spend by referring patients to conservative therapy providers for lower back pain. Her most recent research focused on the impact that could be attained should US health insurance companies offer chiropractic care as a covered benefit. Dr. Rockley’s academic training includes a Bachelor in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Business Management and a Ph.D. in Natural Health.
In addition to decreasing overall medical spending in the US, her naturopathic training and interest also lies in incorporating and utilizing naturopathic medicine both for animals and humans; allowing them to live healthier and happier lives. Dr. Rockley has herself utilized and educated others in naturopathic medicine and natural diets for domestic animals. She has seen remarkable results with this approach and continues to perform research on this subject.
