Curriculum for MS
(Clinical Nutrition, Herbology/Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, or other Discipline in Natural Health Sciences)
Requirements:
30 credits and 15 credits thesis/research or
45 credits with no thesis/research
I graduated from the University of Natural Medicine in the year 2000 with a Doctor of Naturopathy. Since that time I have had a multi-disciplinary clinic here in Madison, Wisconsin since 2000 and work very closely with many of the local allopathic and alternative physicians, hospitals and universities. I also teach across the country to health care professionals and have had courses approved for CEUs and CMEs for nurses, medical doctors and chiropractors. The curriculum at the UNM is very comprehensive and prepares the students quite well for private practice. I would highly recommend the University of Natural Medicine to anyone wishing to pursue the highest standards for natural medicine education.

The content covered in the DNM program at the University of Natural Medicine is extensive and pertinent to the situations encountered by a natural health professional. The school administrator Amanda Coker was very helpful and always responded quickly when issues arose. This is definitely a university for a self-motivated, driven student. My experience at the University of Natural Medicine was a very positive one, so much so that I am now an instructor!
